In the interests of improving pedestrian safety on the road at the bottom of Folly Hill, the National Trust will soon be improving the  permissive path along the side of Clematon Hill, tucked behind the first strip of scrub (red line shows roughly where path will be installed).  Click on the link below to see a photgraph of the site.

The path will be 1m wide and compacted with 75mm of crushed quarried stone. Works are planned to start beginning to middle of October with a local contractor from Holbeton. The works must be completed by the end of October otherwise the funding is lost.
