Most general mixed non-hazardous, solid waste can be placed into the skip – There are a few exceptions, such as:

• Asbestos or possible Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) (Asbestos disposal skips are available and quoted on request)
• Batteries
• Chemicals, e.g. brake fluid or print toner
• Equipment containing ozone depleting substances, e.g. fridges & freezers
• Fluorescent light tubes
• Hazardous / harmful waste containers (Identified by hazardous markings)
• Liquid wastes e.g. paint, varnish
• Oils & paints e.g. car oil
• Pesticides
• Plasterboard Conditions apply. Please ask about disposal options). Plasterboard skips can be ordered.
• Soils – Conditions apply. Must not be placed in mixed waste skips. Classification required.
• Solvents, Adhesives
• TV’s & Computer monitors
• Tyres, Tracks
• Wet concrete / screed
• Wood, Grade D, Treated Pre 2007, Testing required.
